Why are there black particles attached to the filter element I received?

The black particles are activated carbon, which can filter impurities in the water. Due to reasons such as friction during long-distance transportation, a small amount of activated carbon particles may leak out of the filter element. Just soak and clean it before use. it `s just normal. Please feel free to use it.

What is the service life of the filter element?

In order to achieve the ideal water filtration effect, our shop recommends that ordinary household activated carbon resin composite filter elements be replaced every 2 months and ultrafiltration filter elements be replaced every 6 months. Actual filter life depends on local water quality and frequency of use.

After using it for a period of time, I found some scale accumulation on the top cover and water filling port. what is the reason?

The top cover and water fill port are often exposed to unfiltered water, which is caused by carbonates (scale) in the water. It is recommended that you use general household citric acid descaling cleaner to clean and remove scale regularly.

If the purified water is in contact with the water filter element for a long time, will the pollutants adsorbed in the filter element be released back into the water?

Once adsorbed, contaminants are absorbed through internal exchange materials, preventing contaminants from being re-released from the surface back into the water.
